An international consultant, innovator, design engineer and author, David Silverberg is an avid Inventor user. Prior to taking over ownership of Lektra Laboratories (a well-established designing and manufacturing company for high end darkroom equipment) as CEO and CTO, David Silverberg founded Photo Research and Products, Ltd. (PRP). PRP designed and manufactured precision line equipment for the production of printed circuits, including cameras and high precision silk screen printing presses. The company became a major supplier of precision line equipment to the electronics industry in both Israel (where it was founded), and Europe.
David Silverberg earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and later served as a visiting lecturer on Machine Design and Project Management. He has supplied and consulted for major companies such as Motorola, Rollei, Elbit, Elscint, Weizman Institute, The Technion, Bizallel, Ort, Amal, Scitex, Kodak, Polaroid, Fugi and many other industry leaders worldwide. He also served in the Israel Defense Forces in an engineering capacity where his duties included the management of rescue operations in buildings damaged by hostile forces or natural disasters.
With the demise of the dark room due to the coming of the digital age, David has shifted his focus to Solar Hot Water heating and Water Filtration and Irrigation design and development. He currently resides in the Bronx, N.Y.
